******WARNING******This is not a joke, If you aren't going to take this seriously then do not precede!!SO, (have you ever noticed that I can start ANY sentence with that?) I was at a Young Women's activity a few weeks ago and the topic was Natural Beauty/Skin Care. Okay, I thought here we go, lets put lemons on our eyes and talk about our crushes. First, I had to be corrected that lemons would ruin your eyes, its cucumbers, silly. The lemon juice you apply with a q-tip only to the tip of your zit (acne) and it dries it right up. I wasn't all that impressed with the avocado and honey face mask, BUT I did pick up a few good tricks.
Wash your face with oatmeal in your soap--not just good for if you get hungry while washing, it absorbs the oils on your face and acts as an exfoliant. don't forget to grind up the oat meal a bit.
Instead of expensive body exfoliates, you can use a mixture of sugar and peanut oil with a dash or two of essential oil for fragrance and you have the best stinking body scrub money can buy. Seriously smooth as a baby's you know what.....
Last but not least, the peanut oil that we rubbed all over our faces for a moisturizer left us all feeling so soft that every one there ran right out and bought peanut oil on the way home, just to keep in the shower. Wonderful Deb Storm told us that you can use it all over after you shower instead of a moisturizing lotion (apply before you dry off) and you will have the softest skin ever. Well she wasn't lying. Now after a shower the soy sauce all ask for peanut oil. Rice is a little concerned for when summer hits, if my skin will fry like the picture of fried chicken on the side of the bottle, but hey I can use sunscreen... this is great!!
Plus, if you need dinner ideas, just check out your handy dandy bottle of oil in the shower and she what good things you could fry up for dinner. Yum yum!!
