Our Trip to North Caroilna

Wow, that was fast. I bet you didn't even know we were gone, but we're back. We had a whirlwind of a trip, but are really glad that we were able to go to attend my little brother's wedding. On the way there we had lotsa "family time" (ie we were squashed together in a van that none of us could escape). I found out what Rice is going to do when he wins the lottery. He is going to buy a house in Dave Mira's neighborhood (in my home town) and buy a riding lawnmower. Yes, you read that right, a riding lawnmower. He plans on starting up a lawn care business where he mows grass (on his riding mower) between the hours of 10am and 12pm. Hey, everyone needs a dream. When it got good and dark, Puppy looks out the window and says, "Hey, I think I can see some cancellations." I told him yeah, me too and tried to keep a straight face.

T-dog and Puppy were the ring bearers and Salty was the flower girl. They were super~handsome and beautiful. The wedding was very low key and we didn't have a run through so they weren't really sure when the supposed to do what, but they did a fabulous job (and looked cute doing it)! T-dog was realllly interested in when they were going to kiss. . . I told him the key words to look for so he could close his eyes, BUT I watched him jump up so he could see what was going on there. . . hmmm, not sure if I like that, but oh well. One day he will be getting married himself, he should at least see how its done. At the reception, after Salty had eaten about four dozen cookies, I leaned over to tell her a secret. I whispered that she couldn't eat any more cookies. Then she sat up and said, "I have a secret for you Mommy." She says, "I'm going to get another cookie." smiles, and runs away.

The ceremony was nice and Ronnie and Genevieve looked wonderful and happy. Congratulations you guys! Hope you find the present we left :o) It was great to see family again. I miss you guys.
